Taking place on Friday 13th September and Saturday 14th September, this event is set to be a thrilling spectacle as local businesses, friends, families, and clubs compete for the coveted title of 2024 Dragon Boat Race Champions!
Our Dragon Boat Race event is a unique and fun-filled event, offering companies, clubs and organisations an exceptional team-building opportunity.
No prior experience is necessary – just bring your determination to win and a good sense of humour!
Full training will be provided on the day to ensure that participants of all skill levels can enjoy the excitement and contribute to the cause.
Why we need your support
It costs NI Hospice over £21m per year to run our services. Events like the Dragon Boat are critical in helping us fund our service.
Your participation in this event and subsequent fundraising ensures compassionate care for adults, children, and babies in your local area.
How you support can make a difference
- If your team could fundraise a combined amount of £1,224.50, it it could help towards a series of family support sessions, providing essential emotional support and counselling services for the entire family.
- With a combined donation of £2,718.50, you could provide funding for 48 hours of dedicated care for a child in our Children's In-Patient Unit, covering Horizon House and their home.
- A generous gift of £4,166.47 could cover the expenses for seven days of specialised palliative care within our 18-bed In-Patient Unit, ensuring comfort and support for those in need.
