The Belfast City Marathon is a running legend in the UK and Ireland, known for its amazing local support and crowds that will keep you going the distance for all 26.2 miles!

How to Sign Up 👇

  • Register for your place at the official Moy Park Belfast Marathon website before the 16th April 2027 - be quick, as last year it sold out early!
  • When registering for your marathon place, make sure you select that you are fundraising, then select NI Hospice from the available charities
  • Once you have secured your place in the marathon, register with Hospice by clicking the button above to tell us you are fundraising for us

  • Closer to the event, we'll send you a cool NI Hospice-branded T-shirt to help you stand out from the crowd

This allows us to send you a complimentary NI Hospice running vest or t-shirt, provide support from a local fundraiser if needed, and keep you you updated on how your efforts are helping adults and children in your local area.

Belfast Marathon 2027 Route

The Moy Park Belfast City Marathon takes runners on a scenic journey, taking in some of the city's most iconic landmarks. Runners will start the race at Stormont Estate, East Belfast and will finish at Ormeau Park located in South Belfast.

Entry Requirements

Participants must be over 18 years old to enter.  All participants must complete the Marathon Run and Wheelchair Race in less than 6 hours. Deadline for entries: 16th April 2026 (Midnight), subject to places still being available - last year's sold out in record time, so don't wait!

How can your fundraising help?

Northern Ireland Children's Hospice is the only service of its type of in Northern Ireland which provides expert, compassionate, and specialised palliative care to over 400 babies, children and young people who have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, and their families.

 

One of the families supported by Children's Hospice is the McFarland family. When they learned their son Daniel had Edwards' Syndrome, Children's Hospice was there to provide care, support and guidance throughout their journey. 

Speaking about their experience with Children's Hospice, Daniel's mum said: "With the support of Children's Hospice, we were able to spend those precious moments together and create keepsakes we still treasure today".
