Colin McLean and David Ferguson, Co-Founders of Bob & Berts, were very pleased with the outcome of the company’s Charity Week and other fundraising events. Colin said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be handing over a cheque for £13,927.81 to Northern Ireland Hospice.  Our staff have shown great commitment and enthusiasm towards fundraising for the Hospice, and we’re delighted with the amount that has been raised so far.”

David added, “We would like to say a special thank you to our customers who donated and took part in our fundraising, we’re truly grateful. Bob & Berts is very much committed to positive community engagement, seen through our sponsorship of dozens of youth sports teams across Northern Ireland and Scotland, and our various charity connections, like this very successful partnership with Northern Ireland Hospice.”

Mary McCall, Director at Northern Ireland Hospice, added: “The outbreak of COVID-19 has resulted in the cancellation of all of our fundraising events for 2020, resulting in a significant loss in income. This generous donation from Bob & Berts couldn’t come at a better and more appreciated time, and will enable us to continue to care for local people and their families who need it most.”
