Virtual Marathon

Challenge yourself this Spring by joining us in a virtual marathon to provide our specialist care services throughout Northern Ireland.

Grab your trainers and tie those laces tight before stepping into your own marathon. The views may not include a sprint past City Hall, the Big Fish, and Stormont Park, but you can create your own route and enjoy the beautiful sights of your community, all whilst raising the vital funds to help support local people living with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses.

When’s a better time to take on a new challenge than now? Training for the Virtual NI Hospice marathon will give you something to strive for in these weeks of social distancing and self-isolation. So put on your best all-purple outfit or dress up and cause a few giggles as you run past your neighbour’s window. Let’s join together virtually and bring some fun and laughter to this difficult time.

Taking part in a #NIHMarathon is easy! Whether it’s running around your garden hundreds of times to rack up the 26.2 miles or spreading it over a weekend out running in your community, we will be cheering you on throughout! Now you can kick back into your marathon training during your daily exercise outing.

We’re asking those who take part in our Virtual Hospice Marathon to raise as much as possible to help us to ensure the survival of Hospice and allow us to continue to deliver our specialist nursing care services in these unprecedented times, to local people who we’re still caring for; both in our Hospice and in the community.

Even if you can only raise a small amount please take this challenge on, remember, for every £37 you raise we will be able to provide one hour of care to someone living in your community.

So join with us virtually, tie those laces tight and step on it for a great cause.
