Hospice Come Dine with me is a great way to still meet up with friends and family, whilst sharing a meal and supporting local people in your community living with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses.
How does it work?
- Set up your fundraising page online, we recommend using Just Giving or Tiltify platforms
- Donate (suggestion donation of £5)
- Pick the date when you want to hold your 'Hospice Come Dine with me' Virtual Dinner Party
- Decide how you will link up virtually, we recommend Zoom and Skype platforms to stay connected
- Get cooking!
Cook together, virtually, sharing tips and tastings as you go. Include some virtual entertainment, musical performances, dance routines, you could even throw in a fun comedy sketch to keep your guests amused.
A themed dress-code is always great fun, or why not test your guests’ culinary know-how with a dinner party quiz! You can ask for a suggested donation for entry and offer a small prize for the winning guest. Or you could hold a raffle or a mini-auction to take place during dinner or between courses, with all money raised donated to Northern Ireland Hospice to help provide our services throughout Northern Ireland.
There are endless ways to get creative and host a night to remember.
So grab your apron, look for your best recipes and get hosting your 'Hospice Come Dine with me' virtual dinner party and help us continue to provide our vital care services to local people who need it most!
