Old School House Cafe

The OId School House Cafe is North Belfast's newest cafe, located adjacent to the Northern Ireland Hospice on Somerton Road, just off the Antrim Road.

Each year, Northern Ireland Hospice provides specialist palliative care to over 4,000 people across Northern Ireland and relies heavily on voluntary donations and fundraising to fund our vital service.

The Old School House Café is the latest addition to Northern Ireland Hospice trading initiatives, joining an already established network of 26 charity shops based throughout Northern Ireland.

All profits from the Old School House Cafe will go directly to Hospice, helping to provide care for infants, children and adults living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.

Opening Hours

Saturday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Volunteering Opportunities

We're always recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to work in our cafe. As a volunteer, you'll work as part of the wider retail team and will be responsible for providing patients, families, friends and NI Hospice staff with a friendly efficient service whilst ensuring sensitivity and confidentiality of those using the service.

The rewards are great for those who give their precious time freely to us. As a volunteer, you will meet new friends, learn new skills and gain a sense of pride in being part of an organisation that helps the wider community.

If you're interested in volunteering, please complete the volunteer form below and return to us.

If you have any queries with regards to volunteering at the Old School House Cafe, please email retail@nihospice.org or call 028 9037 2780.
