Pancake Parties set to whip up vital funds for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice

Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is calling on schools, businesses, clubs and churches to get cracking and sign up to the charity’s 2019 Pancake Party.

Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is calling on schools, businesses, clubs and churches to get cracking and sign up to the charity’s 2019 Pancake Party.

The inaugural campaign encourages individuals to host a Pancake Party between 1-5th March, anywhere, anytime and simply collect £1 for every pancake.

To help make your Pancake Party a flipping success, Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice has put together a fun-filled resource pack to help you organise your event, including posters, a welcome letter, a recipe sheet, a collection box and more.

Charlotte Brown, Events Fundraiser at Northern Ireland Hospice, said: “We are thrilled to launch our 2019 Pancake Party campaign. The Pancake Party is a time where we ask the public to support us by holding pancake parties anywhere, anytime from 1-5th March. We encourage everyone to get involved.

All funds raised from the campaign raised will go towards providing specialist palliative care to infants and children and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.

If you are interested in hosting your own Pancake Party in support of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, please email events@nihospice.org or call 028 9077 7123.
