In response to the increasing number of COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in Northern Ireland and in line with the best available public health advice, Northern Ireland Hospice is implementing the following actions to protect the health and safety of the public, our staff, and volunteers.

With your help, these measures will protect and prevent the spread of the virus.

We are asking that no-one enters Hospice if they:

•           are unwell;

•           have travelled to any of the high-risk areas; or

•           have been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19 or has symptoms.

We have also asked our patients to think about their visitors to Hospice. We understand how much people like seeing their visitors, but in order to protect patients, visitors and staff we are asking that patients consider limiting their visitors to those most important to them.

Northern Ireland Hospice is taking this global challenge extremely seriously and have a wide range of contingencies in place to ensure we can continue to provide excellent care to babies, children and adults across Northern Ireland.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and we will update the actions we are taking as necessary.

We have always been grateful for the support and love shown to Hospice by the local community. We ask for your continued support during this unprecedented period in our history.
