Celebrate 25 years of NI Children’s Hospice this Purple Month by getting your school involved in fun and meaningful fundraising!

Throughout the month of June, we're on a mission to raise £150,000. That money helps fund specialist nursing, family support, short breaks, symptom management, and precious moments of joy for local children with life-limiting conditions.

This target will make a real difference, but it represents just a fraction of what it truly costs to run Children's Hospice services. At over £5.26 million each year, with only 38.5% covered by government funding.  NI Hospice must raise £3.23 million annually from the local community.

There are lots of ways for pupils and staff to join in and make a difference.

  • Host a Purple Day
  • Run a wacky hair
  • Odd socks day
  • Hold a sports day
  • Organise a bun sale
  • Non-uniform day

You can also get creative with your own fundraising ideas to make the month extra special.

Every activity helps raise vital funds to support local children and their families, while bringing your school community together to celebrate this milestone. Let’s make June purple and full of fun for a great cause!
