Hospice launches Summer Raffle with Donnellys and That Prize Guy

NI Hospice has teamed up with leading car dealership the Donnelly Group and online competition brand That Prize Guy for a spectacular fundraising drive to support the local charity’s specialist palliative care services.

The three organisations have joined forces to launch the NI Hospice Car Raffle 2025 – giving you the chance to win the top prize of a brand-new Peugeot 208 1.2 Allure. As an alternative to winning the car, you can take home £20,000 in cash, courtesy of That Prize Guy. Every ticket you buy helps deliver compassionate end-of-life care, offering comfort, dignity, and support to thousands of local families each year.

Roisin Donnelly, Donnelly Group spokesperson, said: “Supporting the work of NI Hospice means so much to our team. We’re delighted to be part of this life-changing fundraiser and would encourage as many people as possible to enter for a chance to drive away in a brand-new Peugeot 208! It’s a sleek, modern, and fuel-efficient car, registered June 2025. Even if you don’t take home the top prize, you’ll be supporting hospice care – because every ticket makes a real difference for local families.”

Paul Harkin, owner of That Prize Guy, said “We are proud to be supporting the competition by hosting it online for NI Hospice and by offering the £20,000 cash alternative. For just £5 a ticket, you could be the lucky winner – and you’ll be helping provide specialist care and support for babies, children, and adults living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across Northern Ireland.

Lauren Doherty, Head of Marketing at NI Hospice, said: “We’re thrilled to launch the NI Hospice Car Raffle 2025 in partnership with That Prize Guy and the Donnelly Group. We are also delighted to have top local DJ and Hospice supporter Daire McGuigan helping us to promote this initiative.

“It’s such a simple but brilliant way to support local hospice care. Whether you buy one ticket or ten, you’re helping to keep our services running for families who need them most. Don’t miss your chance to win big – and give back.

“We’re incredibly grateful to have the generous support of Donnelly Group, Northern Ireland’s largest family-owned motor retailer, for our biggest-ever prize draw. Their partnership will help drive awareness, community spirit, and impact through this exciting campaign.

“Or if the car isn’t your thing, the winner can choose a £20,000 cash prize instead, courtesy of That Prize Guy, who we are also thrilled to be partnering with to bring this exciting raffle to life. As a local prize draw specialist, they’ll host the competition on their website and help us promote it far and wide – so every ticket sold supports hospice care across Northern Ireland.

“With only a small percentage of funding coming from government, the Hospice must raise £19.5 million annually to keep services running 24/7 in the community, in homes, and in hospice facilities. So your ticket does more than give you a shot at a stunning new car. It helps us deliver expert nursing care, with emotional and practical support for families, and providing precious moments of comfort, dignity, and joy for patients of all ages.”
