Children's Grief Awareness Week
Children’s Grief Awareness Week 2025 with NI Hospice offers resources, videos, and activities to help children and families understand and express grief.
Children’s Grief Awareness Week shines a light on the experiences of children and young people who are grieving, reminding them, and the adults around them, that they are not alone.
From November 17 to 23 2025, Northern Ireland Hospice and Children’s Hospice will share stories, practical resources, and creative activities that help families, carers, educators, and communities support children through bereavement.
Throughout the week, you can explore videos, case studies, and activities here, including a special webinar with Aislinn Delaney, Social Work Lead, who offers compassionate, practical advice on speaking to children about grief.
