Bring joy to local children and their families this Christmas by supporting our Little Stars Appeal.
It’s usually around this time each year where we share the story of one of our ‘Little Stars’, but as its been such an unusual year, and at times lonely and fearful for us all, we thought it would be nice this year to celebrate a number of our children and share their stories.
Did you know that we provide care for families living in every council area in Northern Ireland? Many people don’t realise that our care reaches out past the Children’s Hospice into homes, where we care for babies and children, providing support for siblings and parents. We’re here for the entire family and we haven’t let COVID-19 stop us.
Even when our families were shielding and couldn’t come to Horizon House, we made sure we stayed connected with them, many of our parents have told us that we were their lifeline this year - it’s an amazing honour and responsibility to help these families in this special way.
How can you help?
As we're coming up to Christmas, we're asking our generous supporters to help create a better end to this difficult year for Hospice, by giving the gift of care this festive season. We are facing a huge shortfall in our fundraising income due to the national pandemic, and need your support now, more than ever to continue to deliver our lifeline services to local babies and children who need it most.
