Lights to Remember 2021

Dedicate a light in memory of your special loved one this Christmas

Lights to Remember is a special service that we hold every year at Christmas. It’s not just for those families that have experienced the care of Hospice, but for the entire community and anyone that has ever felt the grief of bereavement.

It’s a time to come together - take a breath away from the whirlwind of Christmas planning and remember our loved ones; friends and family who are no longer with us. It's also an opportunity for reflection and to recall happy times and memories.

This year, to keep everyone safe, our special Lights to Remember service will take place virtually on Thursday 16th December at 7pm. We're asking families to join with us online that evening, and to hold their own personal vigil at home. You can watch the service live on our website at: nihospice.org/lights and on our Facebook and YouTube page.

We sincerely hope you can join us on the night and we would love for you to share your memories and a special dedication to your loved one with us by dedicating a light/s on our beautiful virtual tree.

Every light that shines on our Christmas tree is a heartfelt tribute to those who are missed, but definitely not forgotten.

Just click on the tree in the image below and you will be taken to our virtual Christmas tree where you can dedicate a light and leave a special message in memory of your loved one.
