As World Kindness Day falls on 13th November 2020, we're asking you and your school to become a Northern Ireland Hospice and Children's Hospice 'Kindness Ambassador'.
We've created resources, written in line with the curriculum for four different age categories, which includes a lesson plan, supported with a PowerPoint presentation, and interactive worksheets and activities for your class to complete.
By taking part in the ‘Kindness Counts’ campaign, your school can explore the values of kindness and compassion and – on completing the course – your students can commit to continuing the spirit of the campaign by becoming a ‘Kindness Ambassador’.
Plan your fundraising day on or around World Kindness Day!
- Bring colour to the school by hosting a non-uniform day!
- Plan your own unique fundraiser safely in school or virtually at home. From crazy hair days, virtual walks, or virtual talent shows, there really is something for every year group!
- Has your school gone cashless? We'll provide you with contactless fundraising options plus your own unique QR code that can be shared on your preferred teaching platform.
It is small acts of kindness throughout Northern Ireland which help us to deliver our services.
To register your school’s participation, and to receive your free pack please sign up below and download the online resources. Our online resources include a ready-made PowerPoint presentation showing the vital work that we do, a lesson plan to suit the age-range of your pupils, and videos that explore the role of kindness in society and within the work of Northern Ireland Hospice.
