With lock-down restrictions gradually lifting across the country, and friends and families now able to see each other again, we're asking our supporters to get together, socially distanced or virtually, and to host an event for Northern Ireland Hospice.
Host for Hospice gives you the flexibility to plan and host your own, personalised, exciting event, tailored to the interests of your family and friends.
Whether you're planning an upcoming garden party, pamper party, barbecue feast, classy afternoon tea in the conservatory, or a fabulous late-night cocktail party, turn your get-together into a fundraiser and help raise vital funds for Northern Ireland Hospice.
Host for Hospice Ideas
Stuck on an idea for your Host for Hospice event? Not to worry, take a look at some of our suggested ideas below to help you plan the perfect party that everyone will enjoy!
Big Coffee Break
Raise a cuppa for Northern Ireland Hospice! As part of this year's Host for Hospice campaign, we're asking our supporters to host a virtual Big Coffee Break whenever and however you like, even if you're not in the same room as your guests!
Hosting a Big Coffee Break is the perfect chance to catch up virtually with family, friends or work colleagues, over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious, whilst raising vital funds to support our lifeline services.
Once you sign up, we’ll provide you with a free supply of Hospice Blend Coffee. All you will need to do is brew the coffee, invite some friends and collect a donation for every cup poured. We kindly ask that each Big Coffee Break host raises £128, which will pay for a morning or afternoon of specialist community services for someone living with a life-limiting illness in your community.
Put those cooking skills that you've been mastering during lock-down to good use and host a barbecue in the garden! You could even throw a picnic for the kids, or indulge in something a little more lavish, such as afternoon tea!
Big Night In
Staying in is the new going out, right?! Bring the spa to your home by and host a pamper night with the girls, what better way to catch up with one another, whilst relaxing at the same time?! If indulging in face masks isn't quite your thing, why not watch a movie or binge on a popular Netflix show?
Get together with a group of friends, (make sure to socially distance) and brush up on those football skills with a friendly/competitive game of penalty shoot out, or why not bring the family outside and play a game of good old-fashioned rounders!
Why get involved?
Little Ana Lily and her parents, Delia and Mark, are just one of the families that depend on our service. Listen to their heart-warming story below as Ana Lily's parents talk about the support that they've received at the Children's Hospice.
