Make a Will Month

Make a Will & make a difference to a local Hospice patient

Make a Will Month takes place province wide from 1st - 31st March. During this month, Northern Ireland Hospice has joined forces with 30 local solicitor firms to give you the opportunity to have your Will written in return for a donation to Northern Ireland Hospice.

The suggested donations are:

  • £80 for a basic single Will
  • £125 for a couple to make basic mirror Wills
  • £30 for an amendment to your Will (a codicil)

These costs not only represent a significant saving for you but they would make a real difference to the life of a hospice patient.

How your donation could help;

  • £30 could fund an hour of Specialist Community Nurse services
  • £113 could fund a morning of Specialist Community Nurse services
  • £220 could fund a full day session of vital physiotherapy support
  • £600 could fund 24 hrs of specialist adult Hospice care at the In Patient Unit

Why support Make a Will month?

Gifts in Wills are vital for the provision, growth and development of hospice care. In fact, these gifts fund the care of 1 in 5 of our patients. Leaving a gift in your Will to Northern Ireland Hospice is a meaningful way to ensure that your legacy lives on through the availability of this specialist service across the province.

Leaving a Gift in your Will to Northern Ireland Hospice, no matter how large or small, will enable us to continue to provide specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to over 3,500 infants, children and adults each year.

How do I get involved?

Simply book an appointment with the participating solicitor of your choice during March and quote ‘Make a Will Month Northern Ireland Hospice` when making the appointment.
