Avid fundraiser Collette plans epic trip over the Inca Trail, Peru

Collette Kielt, who hails from Holywood, County Down is organising an epic fundraising trip over the Inca Trail, Peru in May 2020 in support of Northern Ireland Hospice.

Colette has been supporting NI Hospice and NI Children's Hospice for many years, having previously organised a gala ball for the charity. However, Collette’s latest fundraising endeavour will see her scale to new heights as she aims to recruit over 40 people to trek the Inca Trail in Peru with her, all in support of NI Hospice.

The Holywood woman initially became interested in supporting the Hospice when the daughter of a close friend received end-of-life care in Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. Collette said: “We saw how much this meant to them.  They no longer needed to worry about administering and organising medical care, they were able to just focus on making memories and enjoying the last few months they had with their cherished daughter.”

Recently, a close friend of Collette’s also received end-of-life care in the Adult Hospice. Collette has also set up her own Travel Business, ‘Not Just Travel’. After speaking to other travels experts, Collette has made the decision to organise a fundraising trek through the Inca Trail in Peru.

If you are interested in joining Collette on her trek, and raising vital funds for Northern Ireland Hospice, please email collette.kielt@notjusttravel.com or call 07740586939.
