Sales of the new Celtic FC DVD - Access All Areas. The Making of the Double Treble will be donated to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
The club has announced that it will be adding to over £40,000 already donated from the sales of Brendan Rodgers’ autobiography to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
Co Antrim-born Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is an official Ambassador of Northern Ireland Hospice.
In 2016, Rogers donated £100,000 to Northern Ireland Hospice from the sale of his late parents’ home – in honour of his mother Christina’s tradition of giving to charity. In the same year, Celtic players raised £26,000 for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and last year the squad made another donation of £10,000.
Heather Weir, CEO of Northern Ireland Hospice, said: “The generosity and support that Brendan and Celtic FC have shown Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is unbelievable. They are champions on and off the pitch.
"What Brendan does for us inspires the club and its supporters to get behind Hospice too and we have had wonderful response from them. The new DVD will be a success and Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice care services, patients, families and staff will benefit from that success.”
