Run or walk and Jingle All The Way for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
Athletics NI and Mallusk Harriers will host 5k walk and run events for people of all ages at Stormont Estate on Sunday, 9th December in support of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice Jingle All The Way Christmas fundraising campaign.
Participants can walk, jog, run or wheel their way around the 5k route at the famous venue in an effort to raise vital funds for the Hospice.
There are three different options to choose from, including a Kids Reindeer Dash which starts at 10:30am, a 5k Reindeer Run (timed), starting at 11:00am and a 5k Rudolph Ramble (not timed) at 11:15am.
The charity is encouraging participants to don their favourite Christmas fancy dress as they make their way around the festive trek.
Sheila Duffy, Head of Fundraising at Northern Ireland Hospice said: "We’re excited to be bringing this brilliant event to Stormont for the first time. Whether you’re an avid runner or a beginner, there’s something to suit everyone, so come along and support Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice while getting into the Christmas spirit.”
All runners will be gifted with a commemorative medal and a purple Santa hat when they sign up. Q Radio will broadcast live from the event, providing Christmassy songs and party favourites.
