Jingle Run 2022

Lace up for our Jingle Run this December!

After two years our much-loved Jingle Run is back in person! Come and join us on Sunday 4th December at V36 at The Valley Park (beside the Valley Leisure Centre) Newtownabbey. 

Walk or run 5k or 10k – you decide! - and kids can take part in our festive Reindeer Dash (1km). Get into the Christmas spirit with your costume or Santa hat and we’ll have a special prize for best dressed!

As well as our festive entertainment on the day you will receive:

• A unique Jingle Run medal for each entrant.
• A free entry into a draw for one of 50 special Jingle Jerseys courtesy of O’Neills.
• Your individual running time.
• A bespoke Jingle Run T-Shirt.
• A branded eco-friendly water bottle.
• Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each run category.

Don't worry if you can't join us in person - we also are giving you the opportunity to complete the race virtually before 22nd January 2023 - and still join in the festive fun! 

Online registration has now closed. Runners can still register on the day - just remember to bring your registration fee to step out for Hospice!

Important Event Information

  • The Jingle Run will take place at theV36 at The Valley Park (beside the Valley Leisure Centre) Newtownabbey.
  • Pre-registration will be available on Saturday 3rd December from 10am-1pm at Horizon House, 18 O'Neill Road, Newtownabbey.
  • T-shirts will be distributed on the day for all runners, alongside race numbers at the sign posted registration desks. 
  • Toilet facilities are available in the pavilion and three male and female toilets are available in the V36 Park.
  • Limited car parking is available. Please carpool where possible. Additional car-parking is available at the Leisure Centre, KFC, Harvey Norman and Tesco on the Church Road and these businesses are aware of the event taking place.
  • You can bring your sponsorship money along with you on the day or hand it in at a later stage.
  • Water will be issued on the day to all participants and distributed at registration.
  • Dogs are permitted. However, they must be kept on a lead at all times at the back of the race.
  • Prams and buggies are permitted but most start at the back of the race.

Event Running Order

  • 9:00am – Registration opens
  • 10:00am - Kids Reindeer Dash starts
  • 10:15am – Jingle 10K starts (4 laps of the Valley Park)
  • 10:45am – Jingle 5K starts (2 laps of the Valley Park)
  • 11:15am – Jingle Run starts for Walkers/ Fun Runners/Dog walkers/Families with Prams/Wheelchair (View the map here)
  • 11.30 -12:30pm  Distribute prizes
