Remember and celebrate your special loved ones this Christmas
Join us virtually on Thursday 16th December at 7pm where we come together to reflect, remember and celebrate the lives of our precious loved ones who are sadly no longer with us at our annual Lights to Remember service. Our service is not just for those families that have experienced the care of Hospice, but for the entire community and anyone that has ever felt the grief of bereavement.
This year, our Lights to Remember service has once again been adapted to allow us to join together virtually, to keep us safe during these unsettling times. Although we are unable to physically come together, we still hope you will be able to join us on the evening in remembering your loved ones, and gain some comfort and solace from our poignant service.
Keeping with tradition, the service will have our favourite carols and carefully chosen reflections and readings by guest speakers. Then, as we have done for many years, a procession (although a small one this year) will carry lights to Somerton House and turn on our Christmas tree lights.
During our online service, all of the memories that have been shared by families across Northern Ireland and beyond will be displayed, reminding us all that we are connected and united – not alone in our grief and sorrow.
The service will available to watch live on our website at: nihospice.org/lights and on our Facebook and YouTube page.
We sincerely hope that you can join us on the night so that, together, we can pay tribute to all those that we have loved and lost.
