Lights to Remember Service Belfast

Location: Fortwilliam Park, Belfast | Date: 20 December 2018 | Time: 7:30pm

Join us for Lights to Remember on Thursday 20th December.

We would be delighted to welcome you to our Lights to Remember Celebration on Thursday, 20th December 6.30pm (7.30pm start), Dominican College, Fortwilliam Park, Belfast BT15 4AP where we come together to remember the lives of those who were, and still are, so special to us. Our free events are offered to everyone in Northern Ireland, whether or not your lives have been touched by our care services.

Our Lights to Remember Celebration is a place to remember and share the grief we all feel at the loss of our most dear loved ones. A time when we can come together to share our thoughts and emotions with many others who have known the same experience.

The event will begin with refreshments at the school. Everyone will then gather for a short service of carols and favourite readings. Afterwards, everyone will be given their own tea light and will walk the short trip together to our Hospice building on Somerton Road.

Once there, the Salvation Army band will perform and everyone will gather round our wonderful Christmas Tree for the light switch on – each shining brightly in memory of someone very precious to each of us. Our homely café will also be open for refreshments after the celebration concludes.

We you can join us and dedicate a light on our tree in memory of your loved one.
