RUMBLE IN THE ROADHOUSE
Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is delighted to announce the “White Collar Boxing Event” organised by Translink Metro Bus drivers that will take place in The Devenish Complex on Sunday 30th April.
Tickets cost £10 per person and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling Michael on 077 1137 7328Arthur Gorman, Translink Metro Bus Driver and spokesperson for the organising committee expressed their thanks and appreciation to the local community for their support. He said; Michael Nugent, Community Fundraiser for NI Children’s Hospice added; NI Children’s Hospice provides, essential, specialist nursing care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions either in the child’s own home or at one of our purpose built hospices in Newtownabbey or Enniskillen.
Care provided by NI Children’s Hospice is FREE to families; however, it costs approximately £3.5million to run the specialist service each year. The Children’s Hospice receives limited statutory funding, in the region of £1.2million which means £2.3milion needs to come from donations and fundraising.
